Breakfast from the farm
Every morning we serve eggs from our hens, home-baked bread and honey from our own hives. Breakfast is included with the guest rooms.
Lindegården is a family-run farm 6 km south-east of Silkeborg, about 10 minutes' drive from town. You arrive along the lime-tree avenue and find yourself in a cobbled courtyard between white, thatched farm buildings.
We have four guest rooms and a holiday apartment in the old barn. The apartment is a great choice for families and longer stays, with its own kitchen and room to spread out.
The horses are out in the paddock, the chickens potter about, and each morning we lay the table with eggs from our hens, home-baked bread and honey from our own hives. It's simple and genuine, and you're always welcome to ask us for help.

On the farm

Every morning we serve eggs from our hens, home-baked bread and honey from our own hives. Breakfast is included with the guest rooms.

Our farm shop sells eggs, seasonal vegetables, honey and jam from the farm. It's self-service and open every day in season.

Our calm horses are used to beginners, and we take guests out for a ride in the paddock or along the farm tracks. Rides are arranged the day before over breakfast.

Children and adults can help with feeding the horses and hens, collecting eggs and grooming. It's free for guests and happens every morning and afternoon.

After a day outdoors, warm up in the wood-fired barrel sauna, then gather round the fire pit with campfire bread and views across the fields.

We lend bikes free of charge and have maps of routes along the Gudenå, around Julsø and up to Himmelbjerget. The woods start a few hundred metres from the farm.
